To help flatten the curve of coronavirus infection and help end the global COVID-19 pandemic by providing medical professionals with additional personal protective equipment.
We’re sending out face shields daily to hospitals, doctor’s offices, nursing homes and urgent care centers.
Odds are, if you’re reading this, you probably don’t own a 3-D printer. Am I right? But you probably do know someone affected by the coronavirus pandemic. More than likely, you know someone in healthcare who is on the front lines risking their lives to save someone else’s.
The easiest thing we can all do to help put an end to the coronavirus pandemic is to simply remain calm and stay home. Abiding by the “shelter-in-place” orders given to us by our local governments is probably the single biggest contribution we can make as a society to ending this global pandemic.
Many of you have told me that you can’t print shields yourself, but that you would be willing to help fund the production. We’ve set up this page to let you know what we do and to have a convenient place for making a contribution.
We are able to provide face shields free of charge to frontline and medical personnel. Donations make it possible. Couldn’t do it without you!
After creating this web page, we started getting responses from people who actually do have their own 3-D printers and want to help make face shields for the workers in their hometown. Here are some resources that I’ve found helpful. We also have a facebook group that you can join—and a YouTube channel!
Is your facility in need of more face shields? Are you interested in learning how to produce face shields yourself? To request more info about either of those things or for general inquiries, please fill out the form below and I'll do my best to get back to you in a timely manner.
Thanks for checking out our cause. Initially, I set out to just make a few shields, never imagining it would go this far. Once word got around, people started asking me if I would make them shields, too. Now, here we are.
I’ve been so amazed at the generosity of people during this unprecedented time. Here’s the reality, even a $5 donation, which is enough to produce one shield, could end up saving countless lives. Think about the impact!
